Because of low mold costs, compared to other molding procedures, custom molding with K•Prene® can be very cost effective for prototype through production. The molds are generally machined from steel or aluminum depending on the application or can even
be cast from a flexible mold material using an existing part as a master. |

Manufacturing of steel shafts coated with K•Prene®,

Water Jet Cut Parts

One part or a thousand. Water Jet cutting may be the answer. Cut from plain or metal backed sheet. Intricate design or a simple washer.
