Custom Roller on 1618 Rolling Machine

Normally our rolling machines are standard with our 90A Durometer Urethane Roller. This provides a general all-in-one type of roller capable of handling thick to thin metals and able to be delicate enough to handle pre-cut and perforated metals. In addition the medium-hard 90A durometer has slits cut in the roller to help aid in dispersing loads. Works great for most but there are some applications where it is just too hard. We are currently building a custom unit for a customer with an 80A durometer roller on it to provide a very delicate surface for forming extremely thin and pre-cut materials. This roller does not have the slits cut in it because it would further the possibility of it marking the sensitive materials. The material is precision ground to the correct diameter and mated up to the die roller for a perfect and consistent roll every time. This is a combination that will allow very delicate, thin and decorated metals to pass through without issue.
