This part is a mixing paddle that is made from expensive stainless steel. This material is great for its high compatibility with most other things that it will be in contact with but it is difficult to fabricate and heavy. That extra time and added strain on other components used to spin this paddle is greatly reduced when you use a lighter weight and easier to create urethane copy.
