For those in the food industry looking to improve the production capabilities and reliability of machinery operations we highly recommend servicing parts with our food grade urethane. The unique and durable properties of urethane are excellent for use in the food industry. We are able to recover most existing parts such as rollers, mixers, paddles and more. Our entire process ensures that you get an exact part in return that its defect free for long and reliable use. Wash down and clean up is a breeze with our urethane. The various durometers or hardness of the material can fine tune your operation to run at maximum capacity. We are here to help you every step of the way from product conception, engineering, mold making and production pouring of your parts. If you have any questions or need help please Contact Us.
We have a Roller Recovery Video up on YouTube! Check this video out if you are in consideration for refurbishing your worn out rollers. We are able to handle most types and sizes of rollers and refinish them according to your specifications. A lot of rollers that are OEM tend to be made with sub-par materials and tend to deteriorate over a short period of time. Our rollers are refurbished with highly durable and long lasting urethane that can be specified in softness/hardness and machined to exacting specifications. Depending on your application, urethane will last many times longer than traditional materials. We are able to machine the finish of the rollers according to your needs. Multiple types of grooves or patterns can be machined to help with feeding properties of rollers material handling. Color has no effect on performance and is a personal choice, custom colors are available upon request.
If you feel you can benefit from our roller recovery service please don’t hesitate to Contact Us We will be happy to talk with you about your application, cost and lead time.
We have put together a quick YouTube video of Acroform™ to highlight how the product works. If you are looking to save time and money with your metal forming fabrication, Acroform™ is the answer. Easy to use, Acroform™ fits into your existing 90 degree female die and is ready to accept multiple profiles of male dies in order to create simple to complex bends with your press. Depending on your application we can manufacture these in virtually any durometer (softness) to match your material and tonnage requirements. Available with a through hole to reduce the tonnage required and will further the desired profile needed when producing certain parts. You will get perfect mark free finishes every time with Acrotech Inc’s Acroform™ Contact Us for more information or to place an order today.
Getting large radius forming to work correctly can be difficult with expensive tooling costs and further unwanted marks on the finished material. With the right durometer of urethane and specifically designed punch and die retainers a lot of the headaches can be relieved. Our custom machined and finished punches are the perfect start to an exact part. With this punch design we are able to determine the other necessary components that will fit your application or the exact radius you are looking for. The die retainer box can be used for so many different types of punches and radius making this economical and long lasting. The urethane in this application is able to act like a liquid under pressure to support the sheet metal when forming. Fewer hits as well as no marking of the material is really what makes this type of product work for so many. If you have questions about this type of product or would like to discuss options please feel free to Contact Us anytime.
Please take some time to visit our large radius forming page to learn more.

Acrotech has a 500-9201 tool holster that is perfect for smaller electric grinding tools. If you are in a production environment or an at home enthusiast we have you covered. Shown here is a commonly used electric grinder. Works well with any tool that is 2″ in diameter or less for fast entry and removal. Our urethane is strong enough to keep its shape yet soft enough to not scratch or damage the tool. You can leave the attachment on in most cases when storing the unit. This holster is robust enough to be mounted in most configurations with a small footprint of an overall length of 6.5″
- Elecctric Screwdrivers
- Die Grinders
- Small bottles or spray cans
- Longer, delicate items
- Production fastners
Have an idea for one of these tool holsters? Want to make a custom holder for a tool? contact us for more information or to submit your print. We can make these in any color or durometer that you wish.

New Youtube video is now up for the urethane press brake dies. These dies are made from strong and resilient 75D urethane. They are made to mimic a steel v-die but take away the scratching and marring that is normally associated with standard steel press brake dies. They are able to handle everything a steel die can and really shine in high production use where multiple and repetitive bends are common. These are sold in 12″, 24″, 36″ and 48″ lengths. They can be butted together for longer or custom lengths. If you are interested in a product like this or have an idea for using this product please contact us and let us know.
We have added two new YouTube videos to our channel. These are featuring our LD machine. This machine makes quick work of most smaller rolling jobs. If you are interested in speaking with an engineer or getting a quote please click here.
Acrotech Inc. is approved under the FDA guidelines section #177.21000 Subpart F to manufacture urethane parts suitable for use in the food industry. The high durability and abrasion resistance of the urethane makes it a very suitable choice for the food industry. If you have applications that require constant contact with food we can certainly be of assistance. We can manufacture food conveyor line parts, bumpers, rollers, compactors, bins, hoppers and more.
Pictured below is a very large roller that is awaiting final grinding to the exact specified size. We poured this at 53″ long x 9″ in diameter. The finalized grind will be put on it and it will be ready for final inspection and sent to the customer.
We would welcome the opportunity to quote your next FDA compliant part. We can handle all sizes and shapes of parts that you may need. Small to big we are competitive with rapid turnaround. Contact us here for a quote!
Normally our rolling machines are standard with our 90A Durometer Urethane Roller. This provides a general all-in-one type of roller capable of handling thick to thin metals and able to be delicate enough to handle pre-cut and perforated metals. In addition the medium-hard 90A durometer has slits cut in the roller to help aid in dispersing loads. Works great for most but there are some applications where it is just too hard. We are currently building a custom unit for a customer with an 80A durometer roller on it to provide a very delicate surface for forming extremely thin and pre-cut materials. This roller does not have the slits cut in it because it would further the possibility of it marking the sensitive materials. The material is precision ground to the correct diameter and mated up to the die roller for a perfect and consistent roll every time. This is a combination that will allow very delicate, thin and decorated metals to pass through without issue.
If you find yourself limited in production capabilities and or are wondering if we can handle anything different that you might have an application for. Do not hesitate to contact us we will be happy to answer any and all questions you might have. Now that our new catalog is out, you might have seen that we now have the urethane hammer back – officially for sale and we are excited about it. We have already been taking orders and pouring new stock of these since the catalog debut. Many praise these hammers as being great for finish work and to not leave marks or mar materials. These hammers do and will bounce off with harder strikes so precaution and some precision is needed. The urethane hardness of these hammers are standard at 75D however we are able to custom pour these not only in different shapes / sizes but in different colors and harnesses as well.
Have a larger run? Are you looking to add a specialty hammer to your product line? No problem. We can and will make urethane hammers in company colors with company logos and in different harnesses or shapes based on your designs.
Uses for these hammers are of course limitless however some of our customers use them for:
- Mill / Lathe Tool Changing
- Automotive / Mechanics Work
- Engine Building
- Field Work / Farming
