Urethane Mold Inspections

It seems just like it was the turn of the new year. Things have been so busy here at Acrotech we haven’t had the time to update the blog. We are diligently working on a new catalog for this year. With that a lot of exciting things are to come with getting that ready!

In addition to that Thanks to a lot of you, our inspection department is really getting a workout this year. Our inspection department will test, measure and document every batch of parts that we make. We also inspect the machined and poured molds prior to production. We are turning out an overwhelming amount of custom molds this year. At this rate we are going to have to build another warehouse for all of these!! As we always have done we can machine a mold based on a print that you send us or if you need technical assistance one of our draftsman can draw it in house. There are times where you might be switching vendors and you own the mold, we will happily use that and catalog it for future orders.  In other circumstances or for certain parts we are able to make a soft mold using your master. This is usually the case for certain parts with complex formations or for a small volume order. They are a cost effective solution.
